What is a bed to bed service?
GlobalEVAC arranges all logistics from beginning to delivery. The medical crew will arrive at patients bedside by ground ambulance, take over patient care from the discharge doctor, and escort you back to the aircraft for flight. Once we safely arrive at the destination airport, we will have a ground ambulance standing by to take the medical team and patient to the designated bed in the receiving facility. Patient care will then be turned over to the receiving team at the hospital.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit cards or wire transfer. More than one card can be used and guarantee of payment is required before an itinerary can be issued.
What is the process?
It only takes one call! Our coordinators will ask a few questions, provide a quote, take payment, and send a full itinerary for the transport. A medical report will be obtained to ensure all necessary equipment is on board for the patient.
Can any family travel with the patient?
Depending on which aircraft is used for the mission, one or two family members can also come along at no extra cost!
